Shows on the Road (GAL)

Country Arts SA’s Shows on the Road program supports a network of regional presenter groups to present high quality, professional performances in their community. It aims to increase access to the arts in smaller regional communities.

Registered Presenter Groups have access to a Guarantee Against Loss (GAL) grant to enable increased live performance activities and reduce financial risk. Presenter Groups interested in applying for a GAL should first discuss their project with Country Arts SA’s Shows on the Road and Creative Communities Programmer, Tammy Hall [email protected] before starting an application.

Any new GAL applications must be submitted online via Smarty Grants.

Key dates: Applications open 5 February and close 13 December 2024.

Eligibility: You need to be registered as a Presenter Group to apply for a Guarantee Against Loss grant. Check out the Shows on the Road & Guarantee Against Loss Overview and read the GAL Guidelines here.
