Intersection is joint initiative with Guildhouse, that supports the professional development and connects artists, craftspeople, designers and creatives throughout regional South Australia.

The program is designed to combat the isolation often faced by regional and remote arts practice by offering tailored support through studio visits, one-on-one meetings and community events.  Each event features a local artist sharing their insights and lived experiences practicing in the regions.

Since its launch in 2024, Intersection has already visited artists in the Fleurieu Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Riverland and Limestone Coast.

In 2025 Intersection is heading to:

Studio Visit Expressions of Interest

Studio Visits are designed as a collaborative exchange to share creative practices, insights, processes and approaches with the teams from Guildhouse and Country Arts SA.

Intersection Studio Visits are an informal and professional opportunity for regional and remote artists to connect with Guildhouse and Country Arts SA. We look forward to meeting with artists to learn, share, and explore how we can support in their practice.

To book a Studio Visit, follow the links below for each tour location, select a time and the closest main stop on the tour to your location, and we will contact you to plot a place to meet. For us, wherever people are is ‘the studio visit’ – it does not necessarily need to be a physical space – a ‘studio visit’ can be a walk and talk through town, visiting a home-based creative working space or meeting up at a local park or place to share what creativity and arts practice are for you and us learn how we can support you.
