Brought in to revamp NASA’s public image, marketing expert Kelly Jones (Johansson) clashes with launch director Cole Davis (Tatum), complicating his already challenging job.

As the White House deems the mission too crucial to risk failure, Jones is tasked with orchestrating a fake moon landing as a backup plan, setting off a thrilling countdown.
