Let the magic unfold before your eyes, in this exhibition by Aboriginal artist and writer, Kat Bell and Renmark North School students.
A showcase of over 100 Augmented Reality artworks are on display as part of this new media exhibition.
Created as part of the school’s Aboriginal Perspectives learning journey, students have drawn mystical creatures inspired by the many dreaming stories and Kat’s Womechibat AR book (a work in progress), shared in class. These drawings have then been animated and augmented by Kat to bring them to life, creating exciting, quirky, fun and magical experiences for viewers.
Kat is also presenting a series of her own paintings, street scenes from her dreams, and memories, which have also been animated and augmented. This is possibly one of the largest numbers of animated, augmented artworks to be on show in one single exhibition.
Official Exhibition opening is Wednesday 13 November at 4pm, everyone welcome.
