Edgar-Jones portrays Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by past encounters with tornadoes, now drawn back into the fray by the promise of a revolutionary tracking system. Opposite her is Powell as Tyler Owens, a charismatic daredevil storm chaser who thrives on the thrill of the chase and the dangers it brings.
