Aboriginal Poetry Workshop in Port Lincoln

Aboriginal Poetry Workshop in Port Lincoln

Country Arts is proud to present two poetry workshops for local Aboriginal people in Port Lincoln. The workshops, facilitated by Narungga Poet Natalie Harkin, aim to develop poetry writing skills and promote networking opportunities with local writers.

The two-day workshops are open to poets of all stages and experience levels, so whether you’re a seasoned poet or just starting out, you’re welcome to join us. The workshops will focus on exploring different poetic techniques and forms, as well as providing participants with opportunities to share their work and receive feedback from peers and mentors.

In addition to developing their writing skills, workshop participants will also have the chance to connect with other local writers.

Both workshops are free to attend, but registration is essential. Only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mob who are living within the Port Lincoln regions are eligible to participate. To register your interest in attending, please complete the Expression of Interest form below.

Further details will be provided once registration is confirmed.
