‘Grout in’ at Peterborough

The Peterborough Community Garden team shared a healthy pizza lunch cooked in a cob oven at a ‘grout-in’ at the garden to install two mosaic table tops created by community members under the guidance of artist Mike Tye.

Ruth Carmody, Mental Health Project Officer with the Mid North Rural Health Team, said “everyone really enjoyed working with Mike.  He is so easy to work with and very supportive.  The finished tables look great.”

The group, keen to tackle a new project,  plan to mosaic the picnic tables at the Peterborough Youth Centre later this year in conjunction with the High School.
