New look at Domestic Wear

Robe artist JoJo Spook’s new exhibition ‘Domestic Wear’ will  launch at the Walkway Gallery as part of the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival.

It will officially launch on Sunday, August 4 at 2pm by Advantage SA’s CEO, Karen Raffen and DrPC’s Managing Director, David Raffen.

JoJo’s alternative art forms have been portrayed in a variety of mediums, particularly in welded metal and found objects.  Renowned for her metal dress like fashion, JoJo’s work describes the uncomfortable corsets and stilettos made and constructed from kitchen utensils and unique found objects.  Her sculptures are inspired by the painful etiquette of the fashion junkie.
