Sandys’ Seat Unveiled

Sandy’s Seat sited at Truro Primary School

A partnership between Mid-Murray Council and Truro Primary School resulted in the creation of a memorial seat honouring the popular Truro personality, Sandy.   Sandy died in a tragic accident and the construction of this seat has helped the Truro community commemorate her life and commence the healing process.

The mosaic seat was created by Truro locals and school students under the guidance of artist Irene Pearce.
