‘Undressing The Building’ is a new music work to be performed at the Southern Fleurieu Health Service on Tuesday, December 17th.
The work explores and expresses the theme of ‘Change’ – how this can threaten us, challenge us, but can also bring us together.
The performance of the work will be just before the start of demolition phase at the Health Centre and will be performed in the area where this demolition will start.’
PERFORMERS
Undressing The Building is a 3 movement work performed by an ensemble made up of:
Health Centre Staff – percussion and guitars
Create & Connect Group – percussion and voices
Mental Health Music Group – percussion and voices
It involves both live and recorded voice/sounds, found and standard percussion instruments
The Event will feature performances by: Margie Russell, The Unity Band and ‘Undressing The Building’.
THE PERFORMANCE EVENT
When: Tuesday, December 17th from 12 – 1pm
Where: Southern Fleurieu Health Service (in the area between the Large Group Room and the ELF Centre)
Undressing The Building’ is part of the 3 year Change & Adaptation Arts, Health & the Environment Project, a Country Arts SA Project funded by the Australia Council for the Arts and a range of project partners in the Southern Fleurieu region.
